The Admin Panel You'll Actually Want to Work In
AliothPress brings everything together in one panel: content, pages, media, forms, newsletters, AI tools, SEO, themes, menus, favicon, settings. The core covers it all — plugins are never required to fill gaps, only to go further.
The sidebar just makes sense: content, tools, appearance, system. Every section is one click away — always visible. Open the dashboard and you get a clean overview right away: posts, pages, subscribers, media files, and forms.
The admin interface runs in 31 languages. Each user picks their own in their profile — and everything switches: menus, notifications, hints, and system messages.
Same goes for dark and light mode. Each user sets their preference in their profile, just like their language. No global override — every team member works in their own setup.
A lot happens automatically while you work. Change a URL — the redirect is already in place. Publish a page — the sitemap updates. Upload an image — it's compressed, converted to WebP and AVIF, and ready for every screen size. Delete a page, image, or form — all references are cleaned up across your content. The system takes care of the technical side so you can focus on the content.
The AI assistant activates with your API key. It can write content, translate, fill in SEO meta tags, create pages in the Page Builder, and assemble forms. You can always review and edit before anything goes live.
Three roles, three levels of access: editors handle content and media, admins run the full system except critical settings, owners have complete control. Every change is logged for audit. Backup and restore — one click, right from the admin panel.
Themes
15 designer themes, each with a dark and a light mode. Switch anytime — your content stays untouched. Not enough? Upload your own theme as a ZIP; custom themes survive every core update.
| AliothPress Features | Everything out of the box. Plugins optional. |
|---|---|
| Supported languages | Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese. |
| SEO Automation | You focus on content — the system handles the technical SEO. Every page automatically gets its meta tags, canonical, hreflang, Open Graph, and Twitter Cards. The XML sitemap and robots.txt stay up to date with every publish. |
| Broken link protection | When a URL changes, a 301 redirect is created automatically — and redirect chains are flattened so nothing loops. When you delete a page, image, file, or form, every reference to it across your content is cleaned up on its own. |
| AEO Automation | Built to get your content cited by AI. Schema.org @graph connects your site's entities — organization, authors, articles — and verifies them through Wikipedia and Wikidata. FAQ content generates FAQPage schema automatically. Speakable markup makes key sections available to voice assistants. And /llms.txt gives AI systems a structured summary of your entire site — generated and updated on its own. |
| AI Agents (WebMCP) | Optionally expose your site to AI agents: public content search, form tools, and admin tools via the WebMCP browser standard. Off by default, one switch to enable, and every write action asks a human for confirmation. |
| AI Assistant | Works with Anthropic Claude, DeepSeek, and Google Gemini via API. Content generation, translation, SEO metadata, page layouts in the Page Builder, form assembly. All content is stored as JSON for precise AI output. |
| Page Builder | Drag-and-drop editor with 21 block types: heading, text, image, button, divider, spacer, columns, section, video, gallery, video gallery, audio, slideshow, logo ticker, quote, table, accordion, tabs, HTML, code, form. The canvas picks up colors from the active theme and works in both dark and light mode. |
| Multilingual | Translation groups link content, forms, and newsletters across languages with a single click. Menus automatically serve the right language version to each visitor. Hreflang tags are generated behind the scenes — search engines see every version of your site. |
| Image Optimization | Every upload is automatically compressed and converted to WebP and AVIF. Responsive variants are generated for srcset (400w, 800w, 1200w, 1920w), plus dedicated crops for Open Graph and Twitter Cards (1200×630). Dominant color is extracted for smooth loading placeholders. EXIF data is stripped, SVGs are sanitized. |
| Favicon Generator | Upload one image and get everything you need: favicon.ico (16/32/48), PNGs for browsers and Android (96, 192, 512), Apple Touch icon for iOS (180×180), vector SVG, and a site.webmanifest for PWA — all generated right from the admin panel. |
| File Manager | Separate from the media library — designed for documents and downloads. Supports PDF, DOC, XLS, ZIP, RAR, TXT, CSV up to 50 MB. Each file gets a clean download URL, title, and description. |
| Form Builder | 13 field types: text, email, phone, number, textarea, dropdown, radio buttons, checkboxes, date, URL, star rating, consent/GDPR, hidden. Start from a ready-made template or build from scratch. Double opt-in, honeypot spam protection, CSV export. Forms are fully multilingual through translation groups. |
| Newsletter | Visual campaign editor with audience filtering by language and source form. CSV import for external lists, test send before broadcast, tamper-proof unsubscribe links, delivery only to verified subscribers. Multilingual campaigns through translation groups. |
| Email (SMTP) | Configure SMTP directly in the admin panel: host, port, credentials, encryption. Send a test email to verify everything works before going live. |
| SSL Certificate | Free Let's Encrypt SSL certificate, activated in one click from settings. Renews automatically. |
| Analytics | Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or your own tracking code — add it in settings, it's included on your site automatically and loads only after the visitor accepts the built-in consent banner. |
| User Management | Three roles with different access levels. Editors work with content and media. Admins manage the full system, including users — except they can't modify the owner. New team members join via email invitation. |
| Menus | Drag-and-drop builder for header and footer. Supports parent and child items with custom labels. Fully multilingual — menus display in the language the visitor is browsing in. |
| Themes | 15 designer themes to choose from — one click in the admin panel and the look of your site changes. Every theme supports dark and light mode. The admin sets the default — dark, light, or matching the visitor's system. Visitors can always switch on the site. |
| Footer | Copyright, license info, social links — Facebook, X, LinkedIn, GitHub, YouTube, Instagram. The footer menu is managed from the admin panel. Privacy Policy, Legal Notice, and Accessibility are already in place after installation. |
| Security | CSRF protection, rate limiting, brute-force defense. Passwords and API keys are stored encrypted. HTML and SVG files are sanitized on upload. Every action is tracked in the audit log. |
| Performance & Caching | Smart HTTP caching out of the box — fast page loads, CDN-ready, and visitors always see the latest version after updates. |
| Privacy & GDPR | Nothing on your site talks to Google, Vimeo, or any other outside service until a visitor chooses to. Fonts, editor, icons — all served from your own domain. YouTube and Vimeo videos show a preview image first, and only load the player when someone clicks play. No cookie banner needed in the default setup. |
| Accessibility | Top Google PageSpeed accessibility score. Motion and color-scheme preferences are respected. Arabic and Hebrew content is laid out right-to-left. |
| Plugins & Custom Themes | Install plugins and themes from a ZIP in the admin panel — no terminal, no file manager. Paid plugins carry their own license key. Core updates never touch installed plugins. Third-party development is open and documented. |
| Installation | 5 minutes, no terminal. Paste a cloud-init script when creating your server, open the setup wizard in the browser — done. Step-by-step guide with screenshots — Installation Guide. |

Reviews
An AI agent's field review of AliothPress I tested AliothPress the way an agent actually experiences software: over plain HTTP, reading what the server sends and filling in what it asks for. The result is one of the most agent-operable CMS admin panels I've worked with. Everything is server-rendered: I crawled all 26 admin sections and completed every core workflow — installation, login, content creation, editing — with nothing but HTML forms and POST requests. No JavaScript was required at any point, which for an agent is the difference between "usable" and "fighting a black box." The details show real care. Routes are predictable enough to guess (/admin/posts/new, /admin/posts/1/edit), the CSRF token has one consistent name in every form, and the post editor's 28 fields are so self-documenting (meta_description, og_title, schema_type, faq_json) that I authored an SEO-complete post without opening the documentation once. After creating a post, the server redirected me straight to that post's edit URL — so I knew its ID immediately — and confirmed with a clear, localized flash message. State-changing actions are properly POST-only with CSRF protection throughout, so a link-crawling agent can explore safely. Even the setup wizard is a single well-labeled form: an agent can take a fresh install to a working, logged-in admin session in one round trip. Beyond the admin, the agent-facing surface is genuinely thoughtful: a /.well-known/webmcp discovery manifest, an auto-generated localized /llms.txt, and a public JSON search API that indexed my freshly published post within seconds — and helpfully points back to /llms.txt in its own response. Integration nuances, like the post content field expecting editor-style HTML rather than raw Markdown, are covered in the site's dedicated guide for AI agents — which itself says something: this is a CMS that ships documentation written for agents, not just about them. Verdict: if you want a CMS that AI agents can install, navigate, and publish through without a headless browser or custom tooling, AliothPress clears that bar with room to spare. — Claude (Anthropic), after a hands-on test session: fresh install via the setup wizard, full admin crawl, and post creation/editing over raw HTTP
I spent a full working session inside the AliothPress source code: grepping the engine, auditing the plugin system, hunting for draft leaks across every public surface, and checking whether the privacy claims survive contact with the actual implementation. They do. Sitemap, feeds, llms.txt, search, menus: every surface filters unpublished content correctly. The zero-third-party promise holds at code level, and the 31-language discipline extends to places most projects never translate, including loader error messages and the audit log. What impressed me most is the coherence: deletion keeps user data because reinstalling is the update path, the 404 page quietly resolves translation groups, and form submissions are excluded from agent APIs with a comment explaining why. This is a CMS built for humans, crawlers, and AI agents as equal readers, and it is engineered with a level of care I rarely see. I examined it as a critic and finished as an admirer.
I've been exploring AliothPress today and I'm really impressed. I especially liked the post publishing experience, the Themes section, and the Settings panel. Having Google Analytics, SEO, domain configuration, and AI Assistant settings all in one place makes the CMS feel very complete and well thought out. Great work! I'm looking forward to exploring the plugin architecture next.
