Privacy Policy

This policy describes the processing of personal data when visiting this website and using its functions. The processing is based on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR / DSGVO) and supplementary national data protection provisions, in particular the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

Data processed and purposes

Server log files

When a page is requested, the web server records the IP address, date and time of the request, requested URL, HTTP status code, browser type and referrer. The processing serves the security and stable operation of the website. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Retention period: 14 to 30 days.

Cookies and third-party services

The website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or user tracking. When the pages are loaded, no requests are made to third-party services. Technical cookies (session cookie, CSRF token) may be set when a visitor uses certain functions — such as submitting a form or signing in to the administration interface — and are required for those operations to work.

Embedded videos

Videos from external providers are loaded on demand: until the play button is clicked, a locally stored preview image is shown and no connection is established with the server of the video provider. After the click, the provider's player is loaded, and further data processing is carried out by the provider under its own privacy policy.

Forms

Data entered into forms (name, email address, message and other fields) are processed in order to respond to the enquiry. The legal basis is the consent given by submitting the form (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). The date, time and IP address of the submission are recorded on the basis of the legitimate interest in preventing misuse. Retention period: until manual deletion.

Newsletter subscription

Sign-up is carried out using the double opt-in procedure: after the email address is entered, a confirmation message with a verification link is sent, and the subscription is only activated once the link is clicked. Unsubscription is possible at any time via the link included in every newsletter.

Disclosure of data

Personal data are only disclosed where required by law. Hosting is provided by Hetzner Online GmbH as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR, on the basis of a data processing agreement.

Rights of data subjects

Under Art. 15 to 22 GDPR, data subjects have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw a given consent at any time with effect for the future in accordance with Art. 7 (3) GDPR. Requests should be sent to contact@aliothpress.com.

There is also the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of the data subject's residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR).
